Hannah Parks

Hannah is a modern quilter based in Kenai, Alaska who uses playful colors and bold shapes in her work, combining traditional quilt motifs and improvisational piecing to produce quilts both modern and timeless. Whether cutting apart selvedges to make whimsical quilt labels, hand quilting a modern improv wall hanging, or chain piecing a simple quilt for her kids to use for quilt forts, Hannah sees quilting as an exuberant and open-minded exploration of creative ideas and beauty.

When she's not sewing, you might find Hannah kayaking and hiking with her husband, two kids, and dogs Finch and Fjord.
